Universal Right to LIFE

The right of all In 2011, Shaun Alberto de Freitas and Georgia Alida Myburgh wrote a paper on the rights of the unborn child. Seeking Deliberation on the Unborn in International Law Potchefstroom Electronic Law Journal, Vol. 14, No. 5, 2011 . They emphasized that the paper stand for a push to ensure that the international community define the status of the unborn child, who has been relegated due to lack of priorities, but despite the need to define the child this is not an attack against women,  “bearing in mind that opposition to abortion does not of itself constitute an attack on a woman's right to respect for privacy in her life”. The right of all, the value of every life and the struggle of this truth in the current world environment is a tragic fact. Why should black lives matter be more important than all lives matter, can the chat not be because all lives matter black lives must matter. Does black lives matter represent not a social growth that seeks the elevation...

My teacher - Suffering

Personal Book Study  As I was sharing my testimony with a new friend online, I celebrated the removal of all boarders and limitations in communication, the new openness is not just for education, talking to friends or connections for business. The removal of limitations has meant an increase in structural support and guidance. When one is low or fearful and struggling through a journey the internet is a source of structure and aid from people across the world.     In the book Crawling out of the Darkness, the author reflects on the story of an employee who sought greener pastures but ended up abused at her new place of occupation. The abuse ranged from verbal, physical, psychological and emotional, at the beginning the abuse was with subtlety and then followed with a gradual growth into more viciousness that climaxed into physical abuse and a repeated hint of potential sexual harm. In the narrative she shared the mistakes she made, the errors of indecision, the f...

The source of our action

The source of our action   The greatest gift any person may give another is themselves. To give off oneself requires sacrifice, it's more than the action of determination, it's more than the connivence of the moment it's the act of love that denies instant gratification for eternal significance through the joy of another.   Some parents are seen expressing that love to their own, some children reciprocate with a love of commitment and passion. Yet for many the love of self becomes an idol they refuse to compromise outside their “own," many claim to be givers yet will with ease abuse a stranger, some will claim forgiveness for their own and hate to any “other”.   Is it truly possible to be that split, to have such destructive and restorative power working in one and the same. I will say that for a while it may appear so. But inconsistency is consistent. In the end a cruel employer will be cruel in indirect ways to even their closest loves, this may be expre...

Waking up to a new reality

Waking up to a new reality This is a start of a new season in my life. I am doing the things I love and wanted to do for a very long time. Yet the truth is, I am doing them with the least access to resources than ever before. My messages to the world will be about the reflections, insights and questions that arise in my life that I desire to share. Sometimes we want something so much that it consumes our daily lives and energy through our effort. We keep fighting only to reach the point when we become aware that no matter how well connected we are, no matter how much we want it, no matter how much we hit against the wall. It's only when all things are in place beyond our ability that things flow without great input from ourselves. As a Christian i believe that this moment is also the realisation that beyond existence there is eternity and beyond that there is God who is all powerful. Corona Covid 19 has been pivotal in changing the lives of many peoples. In some ways we feel ...
