The Great Oracle

The Great Oracle

Waking up seems such a hurdle. Yet world is back to business, sort of at least. Those most visited by the radical public who dare to move out of security the cage of submission, are the businesses that offer the least restrictions. Those who do not remind the world of dearth, death and danger that held us prisoner. Mankind rises up to rebel against all. The cry against leaders — the response bottled in after days enclosed — we will no longer be controlled , against nature which dared to roam the streets of power. nature that did not seek to celebrate the vision of progress but rather caused division amidst men, men shouts back we will not be overtaken.

How can we live in ruins when the city is habituated, how can we not arise when the battle is beyond, to live, to express to be that is the battle cry. We must do something, anything but wait to be consumed. But where to go? What to do? How to finish it all and why bother when there seem to be so many unanswered questions that still fill our live.

In a world of isolation we are amongst so many yet alone, we hear our experiences mirrors yet fail to gain the answer. As we wake up in different stages of isolation across the world. We only know that uncertainty as become the new constant. The innovators shouts there is opportunity galore, the men of faith smiles and calls on us to see God in this situation. yet the greatest teacher of them all seems the least likely the children who smile and laugh at the wonder of this newness. For unlike us they have yet to unlearn the lesson of wonder. Yes in the midst of the stress of life they accept and seek joy. While many adults are filled with stress and anger frustrated at our lack of control. Angry at the unknown powers that seem to give others peace and assurance, all knowing wisdom its seems is dropped in the lap of the least likely.

Who have you been turning to? Who has become your corner stone only to disappoint you. The reality is that people will fail us. Be they elected into office, be the our most beloved, who we believe we would die for, all people have the capacity to disappoint. We are disappointed in ourselves in what we want to be and where we are, we are disappointed at the lack of promotion, the job that we lost. The wave of disappoints seems to be building up into a tsunami that will hit us at the core and break us beyond all recognition. The expectations of those who depend upon us may become so overwhelming that all we want is for everything to end one way or another.

The bible is full of escapees from isolation and trouble all by faith. Faith that goes beyond our human limit, add faith and ethical principled friends who do not enable us in doing wrong, but are willing to speak truth into us. So who do you turn to in your moment of crisis? Who is the great oracle who guides your decisions? Check your friends, are they negative and angry, feeding anger and bitterness. Do they blame the world for their troubles and see nothing good? Does your conversation flow only because your complaining and gossiping bout someone else? or are you the negative friend seeking identity in the increased pain of other? Try moving away for a bit and seek out time to reflect with honesty. Then look at nature and take sometime to be grateful count five things each day and see that even if noting else changes your worldview will change everything.

Take a moment to wonder and then maybe you will hear the voice of the greatest oracle of all

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
